Since 2010 Sneakers with Soul (SwS) has generated donations of over 14,100 pairs of new sneakers to underprivileged kids in the greater St. Louis area. In addition to the donations of new shoes, Sneakers with Soul has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of volunteers over the years by bringing people face-to-face with the children and families that are impacted by the gift of a new pair of shoes.

Born out of a mission ministry at Manchester UMC in Manchester, MO, in October 2017, Sneakers with Soul moved out of the church to become a standalone 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. SwS is now positioned to dramatically expand its mission beyond its local St. Louis roots to reach out and serve underprivileged children and youth here in the MidWest and beyond.  By giving to Sneakers with Soul more lives are impacted and changed for the better.   Thank you in advance for your support of Sneakers with Soul and the children and youth that we serve.

Sincerely,

Maurice “Moe” Parisien

Maurice "Moe" Parisien

Founder & President (volunteer)

In 2017 following 40+ years a career consisting of sales and marketing management positions with major consumer packaged goods firms, database and digital marketing services organizations, Moe formally established Sneakers with Soul as a standalone 501(c)(3) non-profit to expand its reach in providing new, quality, brand-name sneakers to kids in need. His responsibilities as full-time volunteer are many-fold.  Moe sets the strategic direction for the non-profit while negotiating pricing and special discounts with the shoe manufacturers and shoe retailers.  Additionally, with the support of the volunteer Board of Directors, he is establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with a network of churches and faith-based organizations, as well as social services organizations that are instrumental in the distribution of sneakers to the kids in need.
